Elizabeth's House

This affluent and quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of Salem was just far enough from downtown without being too far. Elizabeth's house sat just a couple of blocks down from the forest. It was a lovely three-story, robin's egg blue Victorian with white trim. The only one like it on Salem's End Road.

The front garden was well manicured. It boasted an impressive collection of expensive and unusual plant species, at least unusual by the rest of Massachusetts's standards. For a Salem witch, they were par for the course.

Most of the accused lived near here during the 1692 Trials. But that wasn't the reason Elizabeth chose it. Nearby was the sacred cave she swore a blood oath to protect....

In the golden light of sunset, Baldrick excitedly wagged his tail and walked down the porch steps towards Finlay. He was generally an excellent judge of character. Even through all of Elizabeth's anger, he never once wavered in his love for Finlay. Truth be told, neither could Elizabeth.
